Products
All items list their availability status within the product description. If a product is out of stock or there has been an error in the available stock we will notify you when your order is received. We will contact you if there are to be delays or if they are out of stock to check if an equivalent alternative can be sent in its place before your card is debited. As many of our products are handmade the final product that you receive may be slightly different to the one pictured on our website and products made from natural materials i.e. mother of pearl, may have minor imperfections that are part of the way the product is made. For UK sales the prices for products and shipping are shown inclusive of VAT, if a VAT receipt is required please advise us and one will be issued.
Payment
Credit Card details for payment are entered through our secure pages, these are sent to us using highly secure encrypted methods. You can also pay by cheque - please contact us with your order on sales@theredgecko.co.uk. We reserve the right to charge bank charges on cheques which have to be represented. We reserve the right to refuse any credit card transactions.
Postage & Packaging Costs - UK Mainland
We have a flat rate of £6.95 for all UK Mainland deliveries. If you are outside this area please email us sales@theredgecko.co.uk for a delivery quote.
Delivery
We only deliver to mainland UK destinations. Orders will be dispatched by either Royal Mail First Class Recorded or Parcel Force. If you choose to give delivery instructions on your order that mean a signature cannot be collected we cannot be held responsible for your order not arriving. Most orders will be dispatched within the time specified on the items in your order. If you have ordered more than one item the delivery time will be that of the item with longest estimated dispatch time. If there are to be any delays we will contact you within 3 working days of you placing your order. Any claims for damage or shortages must be made by email or phone within 48 hours of delivery. NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER THIS PERIOD.
Returns
When you receive your goods, please check them immediately for any faults and report them to us within 48 hours of delivery. Claims for faulty goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly any goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited. If you decide that you do not want your order or part of your order then we can arrange either a credit note or a refund (less the original delivery cost) as long as we are notified within 7 days of you receiving your order. Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost when returning products for an exchange or refund. A credit note or refund will only be issued once the goods have been received in good condition back to us which must be returned to us at the customers expense within 7 days of notifying us.
General
All orders that are accepted by this company are subject to these terms and conditions of sale, which supersede any previous terms and conditions.
All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products, specifications may vary slightly.
Reservation of title
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier, but the TITLE in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us.
